Birthdays and Babies
Last Thursday Ryan and I had a birthday. At the office I recieved these lovely roses. On the Wednesday night a group of ladies from Riverside went out for dinner - and laughed. We had a great time. The rest of the week was quiet - and mostly spent snuggling babies.

Things have been getting into a bit of a routine now with the new babies. The kids all want to hold the babies - "which one is this Aunt Jen?" is the most heard question. Tristan has it pretty much figured out and Hannah is trying very hard to remember - Julia just calls them babies and is happy with that.
She needs to hold them for a second, but Julia (here with Anthony) is always trying to take the babies to carry them, or pat them on the back or give lots of smooches. She is very sweet and runs for their soosies if they start crying.
Hannah (with Blake) is trying to remember that Blake is the bigger one - both with 'B'.
As soon as they are awake Tristan wants to hold them too and is getting pretty good at it (Hannah here has Anthony and Tristan Blake). He just sits with one arm under their head and one under the bum (like above) and is starting to feel 'brave' and take his right hand to put in a soosie if they start crying. It is really sweet to see how much the older kids are enjoying the babies and how much they love them.
These two are quite sweet (especially when not crying). They love to be bundled tight and sleep facing each other - usually their faces are much closer together. Even when one is screaming, the other doesn't flinch! I can't imagine having someone screaming in my face and it not affecting me :) They tend to roll towards each other - if you purposely seperate them - and it is funny to watch.

Blake (as of yesterday) is back up to 8lbs 6oz and will soon not fit in some of his clothes. Anthony hasn't been gaining (though he eats all the time!!!!) and is 6lbs 3oz - he'll fit some of the little outfits for a long time still!
I don't have pictures, but Kim brought Calvin over yesterday morning and he looks like he is the oldest (instead of 4 days younger)! It was sweet to see them all together and we can't wait to see them grow up as friends - like the 3 girls have.
