Update

Just a quick update on the goings on of this weekend.

Saturday and Monday we spent some time at the house getting out clothing, blankets and bedding and photo albums. Monday night things were moved into a farm house a 5 minute walk from Ryan's parents and a 5 minute drive from Mike & Karen.

It is a large house with 5 bedrooms upstairs (the kids were thrilled to show me their new rooms last night. T's is beside my room AND he has a door to the bathroom in his room and H&J have super soft red shag carpet) and an eat in kitchen, living room, dining room, laundry/mud room all on the main floor (with a second bath) and a sun room of sorts that we'll use for storage (strollers and things that take up lots of room). It was very clean (though we still wiped down the kitchen and bathrooms and vacuumed) and fresh. There is lots of big window so natural light is everywhere. There is a field around the house (that Ryan planted) so it will be fun to watch whatever grows there - and know that daddy planted it.

Different family and folks from church have been lending us some furniture and the folks that we are renting the house from have a son who just bought new living room furniture, so as soon as it comes we'll get his old stuff.

It has been wonderful to see how the Lord is providing all that we need. Rachel has been calling to cancel/postpone things and all the fees normally charged are being waived. I went to Sears last night to order a new mattress and explained what happened and that I had just purchased one (exactly 1 month ago) and I would like to order the same one. The lady looked it up on file and said "Oh you bought it on sale last time. I'll give you the same sale price" (which means I saved over $400!!!).

Rachel also went to the doctor yesterday and everything looks good. He said he was surprised that she didn't go into labour over the weekend and while she doesn't need to go on bed rest, she should try to take it easy and not do too much.

We have been very blessed with how quickly things have come together (not always easy for 3 adults and 3 children wtih 2 on the way) and how supportive everyone has been. Thank you for your continued prayers.
