Saturday
On Saturday, there was a free kids activity at the Home Depot - they were able to come and make their own cork board and learn how to safely use a hammer and nails. I think next time we'll bring our own safety glasses that fit better - and maybe see if there are smaller hammers.

Hannah's hammer was a bit heavy, but we just laid it on the table and figured out how to get those tiny little nails in

Tristan had one of the ladies running the activity helping him - she just showed him where to put the nails in and he went to town on his own "I know how to use a hammer, I help grandpa on the farm'.

There was a bit of a rush right at the beginning, but soon we were the only ones there and the kids got pick out stickers (princess for Hannah and Lighting McQueen for Tristan). Since there were so many left, they even gave us an extra one to bring to Hannah. The girls said that we should come to their store every time - the kids were so well behaved and listened carefully and did a great job!
Then, it was time to take some pictures of these ever growing boys - who were 6 months old on Saturday! The time has flown by!

Who needs toys? Blake certainly doesn't - anything that can go in his mouth is good!

Like the shirts that Auntie Jen bought for us?
They are starting to get up on all fours and move. Anthony is a human pretzel - always twisting. He is very sweet and the gentler of the two. If Blake is crying and Anthony is close enough, he'll stick his thumb in Blakes mouth so he'll stop crying. It worked out great till Blake got his teeth and started to chomp on Anthony's poor thumb, but he wouldn't pull it out. He just had a pained look on his face like he was thinking "I'm trying to help you - but it really hurts". Blake is one big giggle! He has a great laugh and a ready smile (though you wouldn't know by all the pictures we took - he hardly smiled once!). They have their moments, but they are so sweet to have around.
Then there is this nutbar - when you ask her her name she'll always say "Six". No Julia, you need to teach the boys what your name is... 'Yulia' she'll reluctently say. "Blakey and Ame, I"m Yulia". Very sweet. She is absolutely nuts - but sweet and plays so nicely with the boys, always finding their sousys and blankets when they cry and making them laugh. She is a snuggler too - so our laps are always full of babies or 2 year olds. She doesn't like to have her hair done, unless Hannah is getting hers done and then she has to be first - it is almost long enough to hold (with some sort of security) 2 braids for which she is very excited, she wants to be just like Hanny Hoodle (as she calls Hannah).
There certainly is never a dull moment at our home... and we wouldn't want it any other way.
