In no particular order

November was a pretty busy month - I didn't realize how busy till I was emptying my camera this morning (so that I can take lots of pictures with my family). Of course, since this is blogspot the pictures are in reverse order so...
It ended with me spending the night with the VanDyk kiddies (so Jon could take Kelley away for their birthdays/anniversary). I tried to fill the weekend with lots of suprises. We made cupcakes, delivered them to a neighbour, visited with Sinter Klaas and watched Toy Story 3. I even read through 1 and a half books! It was a great weekend (even if Saturday morning did start at 6 amish).

At the end of November my mom's side of the family came together for a christmas dinner. I spent the Friday night sleeping over at my grandparents home (for a visit and to help them in the morning). Bright and early Saturday morning, driving through slush and all, Oma & Opa and I sent up the room and the christmas tree (then went home for a much needed nap). It was really nice to have the family together. Karen took pictures of everyone's family (except for mom & dad's) and individual pictures of the grandkids (well... the single ones... so me and my cousins) and pictures of Oma & Opa with their children, grand children and great grandchildren. It was really special to see them.

Why do we always think that there won't be enough food? It was all delicious!

The start of all the crazy meheim was the Cornerstone dinners of November 5 & 6. We switched things up this year and did the Jordan dinner on the Friday night and Cambridge on Saturday. It really threw me off (I was Saturday tired on Friday!) but it went well. These days are always busy with picking up linens, setting up tables & chairs, setting tables, getting centre pieces together & programs. Then taking it down and doing it all over the next night! They were both great evenings (no fire trucks for the kitchen or power outages) and we heard a great message about telling the gospel to others and how offensive it is... but still encouraged to do it.
